CommerzVentures backs stage FinTech, InsurTech and Climate-Fintech companies starting at Series A in Europe, Israel and the USA. It is a return-driven (purely non-strategic) venture capital firm. CommerzVenture's first fund was launched in 2014, with €100m under management. Its second fund was launched in October 2019, adding €150m of managed assets. Both funds are managed by a team of experienced venture capitalists. In 2019 CoV Management GmbH became the independent manager of the CommerzVentures funds. Commerzbank is the sole LP in both funds.
