Abubakar is a Nigerian programmer, Bitcoin core contributor, and CEO & CTO at Recursive Capital. He is passionate about growing the Bitcoin development ecosystem in Africa and, along with his fellow Bitcoiners, launched Qala—a program designed to train the next generation of African Bitcoin and Lightning developers. He also serves as a board member of ₿Trust, where he is currently focusing on "building the future of Bitcoin and launching Africa into the forefront of the monetary revolution".
