Qian Fenglei, a prominent philanthropist and chairman of Hengfeng International, has raised the first $100m, with $50m of his own money and the rest coming from 50 of his old friends. Hengfeng International will be committed to building an ecological platform FO-X based on blockchain technology for everyone, leading 1 billion users to enjoy the dividends brought by blockchain technology. It is reported that Qian Fenglei is one of the Top100 philanthropists listed by Hurun and Forbes. In the past ten years, his annual charitable donations have reached tens of millions of yuan, accumulating to hundreds of millions of yuan. He is an investor in Yunfeng Fund and Hongtai Fund, and the main investment projects include Ant Financial, Kuaishou and Ali Health. He is also a director of the Nature Conservancy CHINA Council (TNC CHINA) and a Public Welfare Figure in China in 2017.
